Hello, Beautiful! Welcome to Moon Shadow! We're so glad you're here. We've been hoping you'd stop by. Relax and stay a moment. We can watch the west Texas sun cozy on down for the night together.
What do we do, you ask? Well, we're all about the slow groove .. planting seeds, growing food and helping the soil stay fit in order to help us stay fit too. Some easy~peasy, whimsical comfyness really.
Basically, we're here to help you provide some fresh food for your meals, while you help us to replenish the soil and support wildlife at the same time. It's a gentle little reciprocal collaborative effort.
And that's what Moon Shadow is all about. We're a small groovy little nonprofit who simply wants to give you the opportunity to grow some free food of your own, in your yard .. where kids can help too by planting some seeds, if you like.
There's hardly any effort on your part and with time, patience, a little water and sunlight, something softly magical begins to happen. Seeds sprout, plants grow, eyes light up, veggies pop out, and the area begins to hum and vibrate with wildlife.
How exciting is that? Spectacular, right? We think so too. Take a gentle stroll through our site and, if you can, give us a donation along the way to help us blossom and grow.
Beware, though, a mean green goblin came along and chewed up half our learning landscape forest so we've had to start all over again. Goblin has since moved on to munch other forests and won't be back .. EVER, we hope.
Unfortunately, though, this means our 'landrooms' and creative learning spaces are temporarily closed in Medina County.
Hey, hey .. it's okay .. no worries, love, because, like little seeds just planted, we're all in the process of becoming.
Besides, you can always find us here on the web and on Facebook, taking it slow and comfy. You are absolutely welcome at Moon Shadow. We enjoy your company and there's always something pleasant in our sharings.
